DeVry University is a system of career colleges in the United States and Canada. Its main programs of study are business administration, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Network communcation Management, and other technology related studies. In addition, they are also just beginning to form a biomedical department.
The private university operates on a trimester course schedule and, if taken full time, a person can graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in about three years or less (depending on the major).

History of DeVry
- 1931 First school opened by Dr. Herman A. DeVry, who named it for his friend Dr. Lee DeForest, as DeForest Training School in Chicago.
- 1953 Renamed DeVry Technical Institute.
- 1966 Acquired by Bell and Howell Education Group.
- 1968 Renamed DeVry Institute of Technology.
- 1987 Merged with Keller Graduate School of Management.
- 1996 Acquired Becker CPA Review (now Becker Professional Review).
- 2002 Combined schools renamed DeVry University.
- 2003 Acquired Ross University (School of Medicine and School of Veterinary Medicine)
