Deal$ is a very popular midwest and southeast United Sates dollar store. They were acquired by Save-A-Lot in 2002. Deal$ stores are unique for two reasons;

• Besides offering closed-out manufactured irregulars and discontinued products, Deal$ also has its own line of cheap Deal$ branded small electronic goods, consumables, and tools. They also offer Save-A-Lot "exclusive label" branded foods and day-old bread from Save-A-Lot stores.

• Many Deal$ stores are physically located inside of Save-A-Lot stores in a format known as the Hybrid Store.

Although there are over 100 Deal$ stores across many US States, most of them are located in Missouri, mostly in and around Saint Louis, Missouri. Deal$ was voted the best dollar store inside Saint Louis in 2003.
