Dearne Valley line - Definition and Overview

The Dearne Valley line is a railway connecting Sheffield and Rotherham with York in the North of England.

Within West Yorkshire it includes the following stations:

Metrocard Zone 3

• Pontefract Baghill

Metrocard Zone 5

• Moorthorpe

Outside of West Yorkshire it includes the following stations (North to South):

• York (Also on the Harrogate and York & Selby lines)
• Ulleskelf (also on the York & Selby line)
• Church Fenton (also on the York & Selby line)
• Sherburn-in-Elmet
