Deryck Whibley - Definition and Overview

Born on March 21, 1980, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Deryck Whibley (a.k.a. Bizzy D) is lead vocalist of Sum 41 who also plays the guitar. In 1996 he met with the future Sum 41 drummer Steve Jocz, the two of which became the first two members of the band who had formed from rival bands 41 days into summer.

He has been rumoured to have had a close relationship with hotel heiress Paris Hilton but is now dating fellow Canadian rocker Avril Lavigne, who he just bought a house with in Beverly Hills.

In November 2003, his comments on the Paris Hilton sex tapes implied that they were involved in a sexual relationship. Paris was also Deryck's date at the Kerrang! awards.
