Dhanvantari (also Dhanwantari, Dhanvanthari) is a reincarnation of the Hindu God Vishnu. Dhanvantari apears in the Vedas as the physican of the gods, and is the god of Ayurvedic medicine.
Dhanvantari apears as Vishnu with four hands, only holding medicals herbs in one hand and a pot containing rejuvenating nectar in another.
