Diane Dufresne (born 30 September 1944 in Montreal) is a Quebec singer and painter. In France from 1966 she sang the Quebec classics songs, take course to improve its technics and drama performance. The writer François Cousineau, who is her compagnon, wrote the texts of its songs where it concentrate intensity, humour, self-derision, a certain dose of provocation, a romantism rock'n'roll jolly and rejoicing with some violence for a soprano voice very peculiar.
