Diane Ladd (born November 29, 1932) is an American actress. She was born Rose Diane Lanier in Meridian, Mississippi and raised Catholic. She is the mother of Laura Dern, with whom she co-starred in the films Wild at Heart and Rambling Rose. She was formerly married to Bruce Dern, now married to Robert Charles Hunter.
