Digital Blasphemy is a popular website for computer wallpapers, both those created by Ryan Bliss, and those sent-in by contributors.

Typical artistic styles include computer-generated planetscapes, fractal terrain, and space-scenes, abstract patterns, and poser-generated humanoid characters. Some of the most famous images are the ones making use of complex computer-generated lighting effects such as particle systems.

Support for unusual monitor setups

One unique feature of Digital Blasphemy wallpapers is the availability of widescreen images, and of dual-monitor and triple-monitor wallpapers, designed for people with more than one computer monitor on their desks. In practise however, there can be difficulty with colour matching between different types of monitor, and many people who use multiple monitors tend to fill all available space with applications anyway.

Mostly free

Images are available free in versions typically up to 1024x768 resolution, while access to a dedicated server containing higher resolution images is available to members (yearly fee in the order of $25)

Members of the Digital Blasphemy website are encouraged to use the public gallery wallpapers on their own websites, either as background, or for download. For example, Caides used to display Digital Blasphemy wallpapers amongst their own images.
