 A Super DLT I tape cartridge Digital Linear Tape (DLT) is a de facto standard for magnetic tape technology used for computer data storage. It was invented by Digital Equipment Corporation, and was purchased by Quantum Corporation in 1994, who currently manufacture drives and license the technology.
A variant with higher capacity has the code-name Super DLT (SDLT).
