Main church of Dinant at the Meuse river, picture taken from the citadel Dinant is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Namur, in Wallonia. On January 1st, 2004 Dinant had a total population of 12,719 (6,109 males and 6,610 females). The total area is 99.80 km² which gives a population density of 127.44 inhabitants per km².
