Dirty Water is a song of the 1960's performed by the Boston, Massachusetts based group The Standells. The song was a pean to their home city, and the Boston Red Sox play the song following a victory at Fenway Park (much as their rival, the New York Yankees play New York, New York by Frank Sinatra whenever the home team wins at Yankee Stadium).
