A Disa (ON dís) belonged to the Disor who were a group of female spirits or minor goddesses in Norse mythology.

Freya who came from the Vanir was called Vanadis (the goddess of the Vanir).

Special sacrifices were done for the disor, the Disablot. In Uppsala, Sweden, the traditional yearly market held on the river was named after them, the Disting.
