Disembowelment is an Australian doom/death metal band from Melbourne that was formed in 1989. The play very slow unless they play very fast, and they relied more on the atmospheric effect of droning guitars than constant riffing. They split up after releasing only one EP and one album. Afterwards, two core members went on to form Trial Of The Bow.
