The Disneyland Hotel is the name of hotels at three of The Walt Disney Company's resorts across the globe.
Disneyland Resort
The hotel has been operating since 1955, although it was not owned by Disney until the late 1980s, when it was owned by Jack Wrather, and Disney licensed the name to Wrather. Disney began raising the cost for Wrather to have the privilege of having the Disneyland Monorail travel to the hotel. Eventually, the prices were too high, and Wrather sold the hotel to Disney.
It is a highrise building, with a monorail station in the lobby taking guests to all sites in the Disneyland Resort.
Disneyland Resort Paris
The Parisian Disneyland Hotel is in an almost completely different style, taking on a late Victorian theme, and with an all-pink exterior. Guests visiting Disneyland Paris must walk through the Hotel to get to their destination. It is by far the most luxurious and exclusive hotel in Disneyland Resort Paris.
Hong Kong Disneyland Resort
At the soon-to-be-opened Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, the third Disneyland Hotel is more in the style of the Paris hotel.
