Grayndler is an Australian Electoral Division in New South Wales, which covers parts of the inner-west and inner south of Sydney.
About the electorate
The division is named after Edward Grayndler, a General Secretary of the Australian Workers' Union and a Member of the New South Wales Legislative Council. Grayndler is currently held by Anthony Albanese, of the Australian Labor Party, and he was last re-elected in the 2004 elections. The seat has been held continuously by Labor since it was established in 1949 and, as of the 2004 elections, is the safest Labor seat in the House of Representatives with a margin of 22.6 percent.
