Fiji is divided into four parts, called divisions (capitals in parentheses)-
- Central Division (Suva)
- Northern Division (Labasa)
- Eastern Division (Levuka)
- Western Division (Lautoka)
Additionally, the island of Rotuma, north of the main archipelago, has the status of a dependency, with a degree of internal autonomy.
