The Dixon Ticonderoga is a high-quality pencil model distributed by the Dixon Ticonderoga Company. It is sometimes considered to be the best of the pencils in the mainstream market, although such matters are somewhat subjective. In most office supplies stores, Dixon Ticonderoga pencils can be found as #1 (Very Soft), #2 (Soft), #2 5/10 (Medium), and #3 (Hard).
