The Dornier Do X was a German flying boat that was the largest aircraft in the world when it came out. Only three were made- two served with Italy (the X2 and X3) until 1934 and the other destroyed during World War II. While not a commercial success the Dornier Do X was one of the most impressive aircraft of its day.
