|
- There is also an area called Downtown Disney at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida; see Downtown Disney (Florida).
Downtown Disney is an outdoor shopping, dining, and entertainment area located at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. It was constructed as part of the Disney's California Adventure project in 2001, occupying the space in between California Adventure and Disneyland on the western side of the resort, west to Disneyland Hotel. Part of Anaheim's Downtown Disney is built on a bridge over Disneyland Drive (formerly West Street). It is smaller than its Florida namesake. Currently, no admission ticket is required for Downtown Disney. The Disneyland Monorail has a station at Downtown Disney.
Downtown Disney in Anaheim includes the following attractions:
- a Rainforest Cafe
- ESPN Zone, a sports-themed restaurant
- a House of Blues restaurant and night club
- Napoli, an Italian restauarant
- Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen, a New Orleans themed restaurant with live jazz
- an AMC 24-screen theater
