"Drain You" was an album track from the seminal Nevermind LP by Nirvana. The lyrics appear to be about parasitic relationships. The song was briefly considered for release as a single, was rejected in favor of "Lithium" but still achieved some airplay at radio. The song is based around a conventional descending line of four power chords (Ab, C, F, Bb) and the riff Db-Bb for the choruses. This song was considered by Kurt Cobain to be better than Smells Like Teen Spirit and he also said it was one of the few songs he enjoyed playing live.
