Dulce Base is a conspiracy theory which claims a joint alien/US military underground genetics base exists in Dulce, New Mexico, where alien technology was traded for permission to engage in human and animal mutilations.
The first commonly cirulated Dulce based conspiracies were in the 80s. Since then, the conspiracy has grown, with much help from the expanding world wide web. It is highly likely that Dulce Base is an offshoot of the Area 51 conspiracies. The difference is, Area 51 is a real installation that exists, while Dulce Base is nowhere to be seen and may or may not actually exist.
Vibrations from the ground near the town of Dulce have caused speculations of an underground facility; however, these are more likely minor earthquakes, which are known to occur in the area. Military helicopters have also been said to be "unusually milling" around the deserted area, although these claims are, at present, unproven.
Some less substantial evidence includes supposed 'leaked documents', videos and of course witness stories.
Notably, many people have claimed to have spotted UFO's in the area, some of which are even claimed to have headed 'into' a nearby mountainous range.
