East Caribbean dollar - Definition

1 East Caribbean Dollar coin

The East Caribbean Dollar is the currency of eight political units in the Caribbean Sea. The currency is a successor to the West Indies dollar used by the West Indies Federation.

The ISO 4217 currency code for the East Caribbean dollar is XCD.

Exchange rate: East Caribbean dollars (EC$) per US$1 - 2.7000 (fixed rate since 1976)
