Ebino, Miyazaki - Definition

Ebino (えびの市; -shi) is a city located in Miyazaki, Japan. It is located NE of Kagoshima, S of Kumamoto and W of Miyazaki. It is accessed with Kyushu Expressway at the Ebuno Interchange at interchange 20 in the west and the junction of Ebino at 21 is to the south and the Miyazaki Expressway is to the south which is accessed via the Kyushu Expressway. The interchange was first opened on March 4, 1976. Kyushu Expressway on July 27, 1995 was fully opened with no gaps to the south. It is also accessed by routes 221, 268 and 447.

As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 24,252 and the density of 85.70 persons per km². The total area is 283.00 km².
