Eckington, Worcestershire - Definition and Overview

Eckington is a small village in the county of Worcestershire, England, UK. The beautiful village is located by the River Avon at the west side of Bredon Hill. The nearest historic towns by Eckington and also situated along the River Avon are Pershore which is 4 miles north and Evesham 10 miles north east. The historic town of Tewkesbury is situated 8 miles south west which includes the River Severn which the river also runs through the nearest city of Worcester (18 miles from Eckington).

One of the Pilgrim Fathers, Henry Samson, came from the village.
