Ed Korfanty, born in Poland. Polish National Coach before he immigrated to the United States. Became U.S. National Woman's saber coach. Coach to first U.S. World Championship Women's saber team of Mariel Zagunis, Christine Becker, Nicole Mustilli and Sada Jacobson. Coach to 2004 Olympic Gold Medalist Mariel Zagunis. Resides in Oregon, head coach of the Oregon Fencing Alliance.
