Edgerrin James - Definition and Overview

Edgerrin Tyree James (born August 1, 1978 in Immokalee, Florida) is an American football player who currently plays running back for the Indianapolis Colts of the NFL. He was drafted by the Colts out of the University of Miami with the fourth pick in the first round of the 1999 NFL Draft. After his first season in the league James was named The NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year by the Associated Press.
