Edgware tube station - Definition and Overview

Edgware tube station is the terminus of the Edgware branch of the Northern Line in Edgware, North-West London (London Borough of Barnet). The extension was built in 1923-4 (it previously terminated at Golders Green), and the station was opened in 1924. A further extension, initiated in the 1930s, never came to fruition. The next station towards central London is Burnt Oak.
