Egg foo young, or egg foo yung (Chinese: 芙蓉蛋; Hanyu Pinyin: fu rong dan; meaning "hibiscus egg") is a Chinese omelet commonly served in westernized Chinese restaurants. It is made with various vegetables often use in Westernized Chinese cuisine, such as celery and water chestnuts, and sometimes meat is included as an ingredient.
