Eigenji (永源寺町; -cho) is a town located in Kanzaki District, Shiga, Japan.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 6,194 and a density of 34.17 persons per km². The total area is 181.27 km².
On Feb. 11, 2005, Eigenji will merge with Yokaichi city and Gokasho, Aito, and Koto towns to form a new city called Higashi Omi.
