Elgin Academy in Elgin, Illinois is a K-12 college preparatory school chartered in 1839. It claims to be the oldest coeducational, non-sectarian such school west of the Allegheny Mountains.

Its curriculum focuses mainly on a classical and liberal arts education, although some progressive elements exist.
