Ellen Holly (born January 16, 1931) is an American actress.
She has appeared on the television series, In the Heat of the Night, but is remembered by longtime soap fans as Clara "Carla" Hall on the ABC soap opera, One Life to Live, a role she played from 1968 to 1980 and from 1983 to 1985. She has written a book, "One Life: The Autobiography of an African American actress".
