Emily Procter, born on October 8, 1968, is a North Carolina native and graduate of East Carolina University. After graduation, she moved to Los Angeles and landed a number of small roles in films such as Jerry Maguire, Leaving Las Vegas, Crosscut, Fast Company, The Big Tease, The Girl Gets More, Forever Fabulous, Body Shots, Kingdom Come, and Guinevere. She has made television appearances in The Dukes of Hazzard: Reunion!, Breast Men, and Submerged. Emily has played the lead roles in The West Wing and C.S.I.: Miami.
