Enchanter is a 1983 interactive fiction computer game written by Marc Blank and Dave Lebling and published by Infocom. It belongs to the fantasy genre and was the first fantasy game published by Infocom after the Zork trilogy (it was originally intended to be Zork IV). The game had a vocabulary of over 700 words making it the most advanced interactive fiction game of its time.

The player takes on the role of an Apprentice Enchanter who is sent forth from the Circle of Enchanters to destroy the Evil Warlock Krill in the hope that being but a beginner at magic he will pass undetected by the warlock. The Frotz spell from this game (which causes an object to glow with light) has become an inside joke, and is the name for a modern open-source interpreter for Infocom games. The Blorb spell (hide an object in a strongbox) is the wrapper for multimedia resources in Frotz.

Enchanter was the first game of the "Enchanter Trilogy" with the others being Sorcerer (1984) and Spellbreaker (1985).
