Erginus - Definition and Overview

In Greek mythology, Erginus was a Boeotian king and father of Trophonius and Agamedes. He also avenged his father's death at the hands of the Thebans.


Another Erginus was an Argonaut; he piloted the Argo after Tiphys's death. He may be the son of Poseidon or of Clymenus.
