 Expectro-Realism - Definition

Expectro-Realism: Expectro-Realism is a new topic under reasearch. It is basically the sense of pure calm that a nonsentient animal feels when survival is hopeless. Mind you it is not a state of shock, nor a feeling of hopelessness...at least it is presumed not to be. Rather it is a Nirvana-like state when the animal realizes that it cannot live. For years a cult, know appropriately as "Expecto-Realists" have been attempting to replicate this feeling. This has led to multiple arrests on counts of first-degree murder; as the followers are often killed in attempts to understand the "high" of Expectro-Realism. The accounts by members of this cult have all found that nobody has done anything but writhe in pain as he is being killed. This fact has led to the theory that only nonsentient animals experience this emotion. More information is constantly being uncovered.
