Johnson Eyeroor (1945-)is an eminent hypnologist in Kerala state of India and writer in Malayalam.
His works to eradicate superstitions like possessing of holy and devil spirits, ghosts, demons, deities and all kinds of supernatural powers made powerful positive results in society. He is propagating against pseudo healing methods like Past-life therapy, medical astrology etc.
His book Bhakthiyum Kamavum (Piety and Erotism) made a revolution in the reading habit of youth. It is now in silver jubilee edition
Johnson Eyeroor is born on 4th December 1945
in a spiritual faith healing Syrian Christian family at kollam at Kerala, India. His father was Pastor J.
Varghese. After formal education he joined in Indian Postal Service. His
inborn skeptic mind seeking the truth behind miracle healing led him to
become a follower of M.C.Joseph . Johnson Eyeroor accompanied Prof. Abraham
Kovoor, Sri Lanka when he travelled across India challenging and exposing
the so-called miracles performed by godmen.During that period he got trained
in techniques of therapeutic hypnosis by Prof.Kovoor. He was awarded a
doctorate for his research by Medicina Alternativa Open International
University, Colombo.
Now Higher Secondary Schools and College units of Natinal Service Scheme
(http://yas.nic.in/yasroot/schemes/nsvs.htm) are conducting his "self
hypnosis and Couéism training classes for personality development" all over
Kerala State with the accreditation of Government.
He is the precident of Association of Hypnotherapists & counsellors and
Bharathiya Yukhivadi Sangam .
