The F-302 Fighter is a fictional spacecraft in the science-fiction television show, Stargate SG-1. By the end of Season 7, Earth has constructed its own small fleet of F-302 fighters and engaged the Goa'uld in combat. The first production series craft using reverse-engineered knowledge of alien tech. At least one squadron has been completed, dubbed the "SnakeBusters" (although there are probably more). It was the first major success in Earth's attempts to build air craft to fight the Goa'uld; the X-301 was a failure, nearly killing Jack O'Neill and Teal'c. The X-302 was the prototype for the F-302. The final attempt was the X-303 which has also proven effective.
