Fairy Meadow is a region near the city of Wollongong, Australia. Located in the Illawarra Valley, it was historically used as a residence for miners from the nearby mines and their families.

Fairy Meadow is popular with tourists, due to its picturesque beaches and views of Mount Keira, Mount Ousley and Mount Kembla. It is also located near the notable Puckey's estate bushland reserve and has a bike track. Fairy Meadow residents live mainly in older style houses, though apartments are now being built. There are several bed and breakfast-style accommodation for tourists and several hotels can be found in the district.

The area is near Puckeys Estate Reserve, a bush reserve harbouring many native animals open to the public for walking tracks are allocated there. the area is also bordered by a fine beach which stretches from Towragdi in the north, to Wollongong in the south.

The area is served by a railway station on the South Coast line, which is part of the CityRail railway network.
