Fakir Musafar (born 1930) is considered the father of the modern primitive movement. He has experimented on his own body with body modification techniques such as body piercing, tight corseting, branding, tattooing, and practices such as suspending his body from hooks pierced through his flesh. His partner is Cleo Dubois.
