Faust is a fictional character, a superhero from DC Comics, loosely based on the character of the same name from Faustian myth.
Sebastian Faust was the son of the master magician Felix Faust. His soul was sold by his father to the devil, Nebiros. Faust worked with the superhero team The Outsiders for a short time, leaving to pursue a solo career.
Eventually his soul was returned to him, but he had to sacrifice it to restart the fires of Hell.
