Fear is a 1996 (see 1996 in film) film, a thriller directed by James Foley, dealing with the story of a young naïve girl named Nicole (Reese Witherspoon) who falls in love with a charming but abusive man (Mark Wahlberg). She doesn't realize he is abusive until it is too late for her to back out of the situation.
