Brillant was drafted 56th overall by the Revolution in the 2004 MLS Superdraft after four years at Franklin Pierce College in the NCAA Division II, where he was named All-New England Region four times, and All-American once. Brillant also spent two years in the youth program of Cannes FC of France.
