In electrical engineering, FET is the abbreviation for the Field effect transistor.

The municipality Fet in the county of Akershus, Norway, has 9,327 inhabitants as of January 1, 2002. It covers 176 km².

It is located at the eastern coast of Lake Øyeren and includes the point at which Glomma runs into it. Here timber floating took place until the 1960's. The main village is Fetsund.
