An Australian Brown Field Cricket Field crickets hatch in Spring, and the young crickets known as nymphs eat and grow rapidly. They shed their skin eight or more times befor the are adults.
Crickets eat a broad range of feeds: seeds, plants, insects dead or alive and will even practice cannabalism if they are hungry.
When looking for a mate the crickets rub their legs and 'sing' to attract a mate.
