Filey - Definition and Overview |

Filey is a small town in North Yorkshire in the borough of Scarborough, between Scarborough proper and Bridlington. It has a large beach and is a popular tourist resort, although it started out as a fishing village.
It was the winner of the 2003 Britain in Bloom, in the category of 'Small Coastal Resort'.
It is also home to a bird observatory.
