Final Descent is an album by Samhain. It was released in 1990. It is a collection of previously unreleased demo tracks, put out two years after the dissolution of Samhain. It is essentially an attempt at introducting fans of lead singer Glenn Danzig's new band Danzig to Samhain. It was released on Danzig's independent record label, Plan 9. "Twist of Cain," "Trouble," and "Posession" were all re-recorded with the band Danzig.
