The Fireworks Music was composed by George Frideric Handel in 1748 under contract of George II of Great Britain. It was first performed in 1749 during the celebrations for the Aachen peace which took place in Green Park, London. The performing musicians were all on boats in the River Thames, providing a background for the royal fireworks.

The work is in six movements:

  1. Ouverture
  2. Bourrée
  3. Da Paix
  4. Menuet I
  5. Menuet II
  6. La Réjouissance
