The Flash and Circle is the best known symbol of the British Union of Fascists. The symbol represents "action within unity".

It was the BUF's second symbol. At first, briefly, the BUF had used the fasces as for Mussolini's fascists.

The 'Circle and Flash' symbol is also the insignia of the Singapore 'People's Action Party' (PAP). It has the same colour scheme, however unlike the BUF symbol the PAP's insignia is comprised is a red flash struck through a smaller blue circle on a white background. The PAP insignia like the BUF symbol represents 'Action within social/racial unity' however the white background represents purity in thought and deed.
