Flatrock River - Definition and Overview

The Flatrock River is a tributary of the Auglaize River, approximately 20 mi (32 km) long, in northeastern Indiana and northwestern Ohio in the United States. It drains a primarily rural farming area in the watershed of Lake Erie.

It rises in northwestern Indiana, in eastern Allen County approximately 15 mi (24 km) east of Fort Wayne. It flows generally northeast into Paulding County, Ohio, past Payne and Paulding. It joins the Auglaize from the west approximately 10 mi (16 km) southwest of Defiance.
