Flying Lizards - Definition and Overview

The Flying Lizards is a experimental music group that made several record albums: avant garde and free improvising musicains including Deborah Evans, Deborah Strickland, David Toop, Steve Beresford and David Cunningham have been members at some time.

An album called The Flying Lizards was released in 1980 and single releases have included post-modernist cover versions of songs such as Eddie Cochran's "Summertime Blues" 1978, Barry Gooding Jr.'s "Money" 1979, "The Laughing Policeman" 1980 (which was not featured on an album and came out under the name The Suspicions), "Move On Up" 1981. "Sex Machine" 1984 and "Dizzy Miss Lizzie" 1984.
